As a tenant of The Lettings Agency you can be assured that
you are in safe hands 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All of our properties are personally vetted to meet the very highest standards
especially in terms of safety, and we follow strict guidelines laid down by the
National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) so you can be sure that you are
financially protected.
Renting through “The Lettings Agency” is a fairly straight forward
process.
- Having found you a suitable property to rent, we will ask
you for a holding deposit of £100 which will be added
to your deposit. This deposit holds the property whilst you
complete and return our Tenancy Application Form, which combines
a credit referencing form and administration fee.
- When this has been successfully processed, a mutually convenient
moving in date will be arranged.
- You will be asked to sign a six month Assured Shorthold
Tenancy Agreement, with a cleared payment of 1 month rent
and 1 month rent as deposit to be paid, in addition to the
£100 holding deposit being held.
- Prior to your tenancy beginning your designated Property
Manager will have arranged a Gas safety certificate to be
issued by a Corgi registered engineer and will also take
meter readings and inform utility companies of the change
of occupier.
